Artist Interview – April
Today, we meet April as part of our ‘Kao Na’ artist interview series.
9 is a lucky number in Thailand. 9 also means forward stepping or progress. Kao Na or 9 forward.
1.) First things first, what is your favourite Thai meal?
Som Tum (Spicy Papaya Salad)
2.) Tell us more about you.
I’m half Thai, half insane, hahaha. Having said that, I am a pretty sociable and interactive person. I like to talk to everyone. I always care about the people around me and treat them all like family. So, whenever there is a problem around us, we like to solve the situation together.
3.) How did you start DJing?
It all started when we used to watch skateboarding videos. In those videos, they played interesting songs that we liked. Those songs made me want to pursue Djing. I used to love listening to Hip Hop on old CDs. I love and miss my childhood. We had the best time around.
4.) What genres do you play?
Tech House, Techno, and Breakbeat.
5.) Who or what are your music influences?
James Harcourt and DJ Shadow.
6.) Favourite places to party in Thailand?
Chiang Mai, Bangkok, and South Thailand.
7.) Are you making your own music?/ Do you have any tracks out?
Not yet. But, I will soon.
8.) What is your all-time favourite track?
DJ Shadow – Organ Donor DJ Shadow Organ Donor
9.) Finally, what are your thoughts about the launch of ozonebeach.club?
It gives us all a great opportunity to enjoy and explore more electronic music!
